"...I don't see the strong lines [of stone placement] found in "true" cobblestone construction. There doesn't seem to be the careful matching of stone sizes either. I would simply call this a field stone house. (Erin Anheier)"
"This doesn't meet the general criteria for an authentic cobblestone structure - horizontal rows, definite mortar joints, quoins or pilasters in the corners. (Karen Crandall)".

This structure was likely a private home, but now is the offices of the Westside News.
